This page is specially devoted to the 'Smiths' range of wall and mantel clocks which are becoming very collectable now. There are a variety of clock styles with both manual (wind up) and mains powered syncronous (Sectric) movements, prduced by Smiths from the early part of the 20th Century. We are often asked whether Smiths still make clocks. Although the company still exists and is called Smiths Industries, it ceased making domestic clocks in the late 1970's.

For more information we can recommend Barrie Smiths website, he has researched the company extensively and has also published a book containing lots of reference material. See our 'links' page.

More Smiths clocks are listed on the 'Mantel clock' and 'Electric clock' pages.

All Smiths clocks are supplied with original keys and pendulums.
